Visibility Tools
Reference
In the upper left corner of the 3D view can be found the visibility tools, which allows you to control objects and models visibility.
Hide a Selection
Load a model in the Trimble Connect for Windows 3D Viewer.
Select the objects that you want to hide.
On the toolbar, click Hide Selection.
Your selection will be hidden.
You can revert by clicking Show All.
Show Only the Selected Objects
Load a model in the Trimble Connect for Windows 3D Viewer.
Select the objects that you want to show only.
On the toolbar, click Show Only.
All other objects and models will be hidden.
You can revert by clicking Show All.
Show All Hidden Objects
If you have hidden objects from the 3D view, you can quickly show all objects again by clicking the Show All Objects in the main toolbar.
Ghost Mode
Ghost mode is great when you are trying to give context to the visible objects.
To use ghost mode
Load a model in the Trimble Connect for Windows 3D Viewer.
Select some objects and use either Hide Selection or Show Only to have some objects visible and others hidden.
3. Turn on Ghost Mode located in the Visibility Toolbar.
4. The hidden objects will be shown with a high transparency but cannot be selected.
Change Model Transparency
Use the model transparency setting if you want to adjust the transparency for all loaded models.
To change model transparency
Load a model in the Trimble Connect for Windows 3D Viewer.
Use the slider to adjust the transparency.
