Adding & Removing Models
Add Models to the 3D Viewer
Models can be loaded by clicking the model selection button, which opens the model selection dialog, where the entire project hierarchy can be found.
To add models or folders
Open a file or folder in Trimble Connect for Windows 3D Viewer.
Open the Models panel.
Click the Model Selection button.
The Model Selection dialog will open.Click the checkbox next to the model or folder you want to add.
The selection will be added to the Models Tab.Click Close to complete the operation.
To add local files
Open a file or folder in Trimble Connect for Windows 3D Viewer.
Open the Models panel.
Click the Model Selection button.
The Model Selection dialog will open.Click the Add file button.
Select the local file you want to add.Click Close to complete the operation.
Remove Models from the 3D Viewer
Models and folders can also be removed from the 3D Viewer by using the Model Selection Dialog. To do so, click the Model selection button, which opens the Model Selection Dialog. When un-checking models in this dialog, they will be removed from the Models Tab immediately.
Prerequisites
These instructions assume that you already have a model or folder loaded in Trimble Connect for Windows 3D Viewer.
To remove a model or folder
Open the Models panel.
Click the Model Selection button.
The Model Selection dialog will open.Uncheck the box next to the model or folder you want to remove.
The selection will be removed from the Models Tab.Click Close to complete the operation.
