The top toolbar above the navigation wheel allows you to change the navigation mode, and also to switch to fullscreen (most right button). The active navigation mode is highlighted in blue in the top toolbar, and also shown in the middle of the wheel.
The navigation can also be done through the navigation wheel. Arrows have the same behavior as pressing the arrow keys on the keyboard. The zooming can be done by clicking the + and - buttons, or drag the slider up and down.
To rotate the model
Load a model in the Trimble Connect for Windows 3D Viewer.
If the Navigation Toolbar is hidden, click the middle of the Navigation Wheel.
The Navigation Toolbar will appear above the Navigation Wheel.
If it is not already selected on the toolbar, select Rotate.
Pick a point in the model and hold down the left mouse button.
Move the mouse as needed to rotate the model around the point you picked.
To pan the model
Load a model in the Trimble Connect for Windows 3D Viewer.
If the Navigation Toolbar is hidden, click the middle of the Navigation Wheel.
The Navigation Toolbar will appear above the Navigation Wheel.
On the toolbar, select Pan.
Pick a point in the model and hold down the left mouse button.
Move the mouse to move the model.
To walk around the model
Load a model in the Trimble Connect for Windows 3D Viewer.
If the Navigation Toolbar is hidden, click the middle of the Navigation Wheel.
The Navigation Toolbar will appear above the Navigation Wheel.
On the toolbar, select Walk.
Pick a point in the model and hold down the left mouse button.
Move the mouse to the walking direction.
To look around the model
Load a model in the Trimble Connect for Windows 3D Viewer.
If the Navigation Toolbar is hidden, click the middle of the Navigation Wheel.
The Navigation Toolbar will appear above the Navigation Wheel.
On the toolbar, select Turn Head.
Pick a point in the model and hold down the left mouse button.
Move the mouse to turn the camera.
