Files added to your project locally will not exist on the server until you have chosen to upload the files.
If no folder is selected, the file will be added to the root level of the project.
If a file is selected, the file will be added in the same folder/level as the selected file.
There are a few ways to add files to your project, but two common ways are by dragging and dropping files into your project and by selecting a folder and clicking Add File.
To add files to your project
Open your project in Trimble Connect for Windows.
Click Add File.
Browse to find and select the file that you want to upload.
Click Open.
The file will be added to your project.
Alternatively
You can also drag and drop files from Windows Explorer to the Explorer side pane.
To add files to a specific folder
Open your project in Trimble Connect for Windows.
Select the desired folder.
Click Add File (from the main action buttons or context menu).
Browse to find and select the file that you want to upload.
Click Open.
The file will be added to your folder.
