Viewing 2D & 3D Files
Viewing 2D Files
You can open 2D files to their native application from Trimble Connect for Windows.
To view a 2D file, such as a photo, a document, or a PDF file
Open your project in Trimble Connect for Windows.
In the Explorer side pane, double-click the file.
The file will open in another application.
Viewing in 3D
View Models in 3D
To view a 3D model
Open your project in Trimble Connect for Windows.
In the Explorer side pane, double-click the file or select the file and click View.
The file will open in the 3D Viewer.
Open a Folder in 3D
If you have multiple models in a folder that you want to view in the 3D Viewer, you can easily open the folder in 3D!
To view a folder of 3D models
Open your project in Trimble Connect for Windows.
In the Explorer side pane, select the folder.
Click the View button.
The folder will open in the 3D Viewer.

To open your project in the 3D Viewer
Open your project in Trimble Connect for Windows.
In the Explorer side pane, make sure nothing is selected.
Click the View button.
The project will open in the 3D Viewer.
