File Interactions Based On Status

Double clicking a file has different behaviors based on the file type & status:

• • Double clicking a file will download the file from the server if it hasn't been downloaded yet.

  • If the file is a model readable in Trimble Connect for Windows, it will open the context menu (double tap opens the file in the 3D Viewer. 

  • If it is a 2D file, it will be opened with the associated default software.
