Creating Clash Sets
Create a Clash Set
To create a new clash set
Load the desired models you want to use for the clash set in Trimble Connect for Windows 3D Viewer.
Open the Clash sets tab.
In the upper-right corner of the Clash sets tab, click Add clash set.
In the Clash set parameters panel, type the clash set name.
In the Models in the clash set section, select at least 2 models in which you want to detect clashes.
Select the clash type.
Specify the clearance or tolerance distance.
To leave out clashes within the same object type or element type, select the Ignore clashes within the same type checkbox.
Add the users or user groups with whom you want to share the clash set.
Click Ok.
The new clash set will be added to the Clashes side pane. Trimble Connect for Windows ensures that the model has been converted to a TrimBIM model, and then, runs the clash check.
Clash check status is now shown with a circle progress indicator, with progress percentage in the tooltip. During clash check run the manual clash sync button is disabled because accelerated clash sync is carried out in the background to give almost real-time progress info.
