Export a View as TrimBIM
You can now export a View as 3D .trb model!
TrimBIM (.trb) is Trimble's proprietary 3D model file format.To export a View as TrimBIM
Open a model in Trimble Connect for Windows 3D Viewer.
Adjust the 3D View according to your needs.
On the left side pane, click to open the Models list.
Click Export as trb.
Browse to the location where you want to save the TrimBIM model.
Name the TrimBIM model.
Click Save.
Save as TrimBIM
To save as TrimBIM
Open a model in Trimble Connect for Windows 3D Viewer.
From the Models Tab, double click on the file (or press the info button).
The Model Details will open.
Click the Select version button.
The version history panel will open to display the list of versions for the file.
Select the revision that you want to save.
Select Save as TrimBIM…
Browse to the location where you want to save the TrimBIM model.
Name the TrimBIM model.
Click Save.
The revision will now be saved as a .trb file to your machine.
