Draw Freehand Markups

Freehand markups are used to draw on object surfaces to add information to a View. By default, the markup dropdown shows that tool. Create a View to share the markup with others.

• The placement of the freehand markup cannot be edited after creation. 

• Freehand markup color can be changed after creation.

• Freehand markup selected state is blue. 

To draw a freehand markup

1. Load a model in the Trimble Connect for Windows 3D Viewer.

2. On the toolbar, click Freehand Markup.

3. Pick the point where you want to place the markup and hold down the left mouse button.

4. Drag the mouse to draw the markup.

5. Release the left mouse button.
